Expensive

Any organisation must make charges to survive. These can be open or hidden. Secretive organisations frequently make unseen demands of 10% or more of their members’ incomes. The Rosicrucian Order makes no such demands. Its charges are up-front and clearly stated. They equate to roughly the cost of a family restaurant meal per month - a very small price to pay for a body of knowledge that is life-changing and spiritually uplifting.

It has often been said by senior members of the Order that, had they known how positive the impact of Rosicrucian teachings was to be on their lives, they would have been willing to pay very much more for the knowledge they received. Some members, after a lifetime of association with the Order, make gifts or bequests; and these are very much appreciated and needed, since the monthly charges for membership and production/delivery of the teachings is set at the smallest possible amount to cover the operating expenses of the organisation, which leaves little spare for marketing or other expansive activities necessary in today’s harsh commercial world.

Staff working within AMORC, including the Directors, are paid much less than their counterparts in industry and commerce. They take on such jobs to be of service to the world through the Order.  This point is made to illustrate how much care is taken to keep the members’ costs at an affordable level.

Multiple members within a single family may apply for Companion Membership, for which the charges are considerably less than twice the single fee.
