Although the primary method of association with the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, is by home study, there often arises the desire to associate with others who are following the teachings. To facilitate this, the Order promotes the existence of local bodies called (in order of increasing size), Atrium Groups, Pronaos Groups, Chapters and finally, Lodges. The new member is very welcome to attend these bodies at any stage of their mystical journey and should never feel that they “don’t know enough” or “have nothing to offer”. The essence of membership of such an Affiliated Body is to give something back and share the fellowship. Intellectual achievement is never a central attribute. Warmth, companionship and sharing are always found through these doors.
